The 42nd Annual Deposit Lumberjack Festival
Every 3rd weekend in July, the town of Deposit hosts a lumberjack festival and one of the main events is logging competition. The challenges are held over two days and feature the use of both hand and power cutting tools. I grew up in this tiny village in upstate New York, but in all the years I lived the there, I never once saw the whole event from start to finish.
